A lot of changes have occurred lately in the online gambling world, maybe because of the recently passed Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act and the uncertainty in the business. Following the trend, award winning online casino and poker operator, 32Red, has announced the appointment of Jon Hale as the new Group Finance Director. Before joining the online casino group Hale was Chief Operating Office, Finance Director and Company Secretary of Alan Brazil Leisure Plc, an operator of a horse racing club.
“I’m really excited to be joining this online casino, which has built an excellent reputation in the last years. I’m sure that we’ll be able to continue providing quality customer service, as well as fast and efficient payments to our players” said Hale briefly after joining in. Ed Ware, CEO of the online casino group, added: “we are very pleased to have Jon joining us. We made an extensive search before choosing him, and we know that he has en excellent understanding of the online casino industry, as well as strong financial skills”
The online casino group, based in Gibraltar and fully licensed and regulated by the local government, has also announced last month the signing of Martin Saunders as Trading Director. In addition, the site has also become the official sponsor of the Premiership football club Aston Villa FC. The site is specially popular among British players, as 83% of the customers registered come from the UK and Ireland. In September 2005 the online casino company listed on the London Stock Exchange’s Alternative Investment Market.
