Grab your passport, we’re going to Mexico! On China, Thailand, somewhere in Europe or you name it! It was predicted to take place by many online casino experts as soon as the United States banned online casino gambling a few months ago and even before then. It is now really taking place. Online casino companies can no longer count on the largest market of gamblers in the world, at least what used to be the largest community, and are moving south, east and west. North too.
Last week, an online casino software provider, one of the largest ones in the industry as a matter of fact, announced it reached an agreement with a Mexican company that operates land based casinos in the Latin American region, for a partnership that will last for the three coming years, as the contract details. The partenership will give the software company a pool of 180,000 gamblers who will be introduced with the wonders of online casino gambling.
With such an initial pool of gamblers, the online casino company will have a comfortable foot print in the new market. Like the Latin American community of gamblers, other mergers and coperations in other places around the globe will provide similar business justification. The online casino companies will, within a year or two, or even less, shift from serving a single market – the American one – with all the risks that it involves, to serving a world of online casino potential.
