One of the toughest competitions going on these days at the online gambling industry is the one taking place between the different software providers. While there are more than 20 companies dealing with that area, the market is clearly dominated by 3 or 4 of those companies. Playtech, Cryptologic and Microgaming are probably the names that sound the most familiar to many of the players, but that certainly doesn’t mean that they’re the only ones. Mansion, one of the biggest and most influential online gambling groups today, has been searching lately for a new provider for their online poker lobby. Many rumors have suggested that they will go for Playtech’s offer, but the company surprised many lately when they decided to join the Ongame poker network.
In fact, by looking closer at the fact, the decision shouldn’t really come as a surprise. Ongame’s poker network is considered to be one of the largest today, with over 30,000 gamblers playing there simultaneously at peak times. "We chose Ongame Poker Network as we think they’re one of the most tried and trusted platforms online and also because of their superior Poker software” said Guy Gussarsky, CEO of the online casino group
At the other hand of the deal, Ongame can certainly feel lucky to be connected with one of the largest online gambling groups.” We are delighted to partner with the Mansion group, with whom we share great synergy. I’m sure that together we will be able to move our online poker network to a whole new level” commented Tomer Katz, a spokesperson for Ongame Network
