At the online casino industry, there’s probably nothing more despicable than trying to cheat at one of the games. When the players themselves try to do it it’s bad enough, but what can we say if it is the very CEO of the site itself that tries cheating ? Apparently, that’s exactly what happened, when the former CEO of a big online poker site used his position in order to design the software in such a way that he will able to see the opponents’ cards. As you all probably know, poker may involve luck, but it’s primarily based on skills and knowing the other players’ card can make your job much easier
As the former CEO of the online casino Absolute Poker, Scott Tom thought that he had it all covered. After all, how hard can it be to win a game of online poker if you know exactly what your opponent is planning ? His plot was going according to plans until one the site’s players, “CrazyMarco”, got a little too suspicious. Some IP addresses and e-mail checks later, he got to the conclusion that the so called “Potripper” is no other than the former CEO of the site
Although it’s still unknown how many times Scott Tom used this little trick, we all hope that it will be discovered soon and all the proper measures will take place. Credibility, reliability and safety are probably one of the most important things that any online casino should be offering its customers. Hopefully, this case will the last one involving any kind of cheating, no matter who’s the cheater and who’s getting stung.
